Convert bank statements to Excel
The Excel export is a real workbook, not a CSV with a different extension. Dates are date cells, amounts are numeric cells with a two-decimal format, the header row is frozen and filters are switched on, so you can sort and total the moment the file opens.

The thousands separators above are Excel's display format; the underlying cells hold plain numbers, so SUM, pivot tables and lookups work without cleaning.
Why convert bank statements to Excel here
Real cell types
Dates are stored as Excel dates and amounts as numbers with a two-decimal format, so sorting, filtering, SUM and pivot tables work the moment the workbook opens.
Three sheets, nothing hidden
Transactions, Statement Information and a Conversion Report that records each balance test and its outcome. What you download is data you can audit, not a template that recalculates.
Reconciled before download
Opening + credits − debits must equal closing, and each running balance must follow from the previous one. Any failure is shown as an issue with the affected rows and pages.
Page and Flags columns
Every row records which PDF page it came from and lists anything worth checking, such as a merged description, a low-confidence OCR word or an ambiguous date.
Scanned statements included
Image-only pages are deskewed and read with OCR. Rows built from doubtful words are flagged in the Flags column and highlighted in review.
Deleted after 24 hours
Files are encrypted in transit and stored under random keys. Originals are deleted 24 hours after processing; exports and extracted transactions 7 days after conversion; Delete now removes everything immediately. Account numbers are stored masked.
